Acupuncture works–just gotta let people know.
At our clinic we will be implementing an all-inclusive program that is going to utilize exercise, dietary therapy, and acupuncture. Details due in June. Program will run every 60 days. Fantastic results are expected. No other system in Minneapolis is going to match what we can offer in terms of the physical, mental, and emotional aspects. Email us to get on the waiting list.
Something that we already knew…acupuncture works better than standard care (meds, exercise, chiro) for low back pain. This study involved over 600 patients. The curious thing is that dermal stimulation was just as good as needle retention in this study? So really it is saying that acupressure points have there place in treating low back pain–so even if you are scared of needles, we can still help. It is nice to see a bigger study confirm what we see everyday in clinic. If you have any questions, let us know we are here to help treat with your low back pain. Here is an article from the study published recently by the Archives of Internal Medicine.

Ginger is commonly used in Traditional Chinese Medicine, along with a course of acupuncture in cases of nausea–regardless of the cause. If you are looking for treatment of cancer with acupuncture, be cautious and prudent. In China, cancer is treated with both western and traditional methods in tandem. So if you are following the Minnesota case of Daniel Hauser (13 year-old Sleepy Eye boy’s cancer treatment is at the center of a child protection case pending in Brown County, Minnesota)–we are not miracle workers and do not support the family in this situation. We can help but remember western medicine does have it’s place.

Awesome Job!!!
We are in-network with HP/Cigna and BCBS.
(FYI...Blue Cross is not easy to work with and very strigent to what they cover with acupuncture benefits.)
We do take FSA and HSA money for treatment and can provide a "superbill."
About a 25% of our patients have good plans. About 40% use HSA/Flex money and the rest are cash at the TOS.
We do accept auto and PI cases but it is not our clinical focus.
*If you are committed to care we will work with everyone to make treatments accessible.
Some out-of-network companies will cover your treatments.
